The TomTom AmiGo app is the online variant of TomTom navigation and is also kept up-to-date by users with functions such as mobile speed cameras. The navigation app displays mobile speed cameras, live traffic jams and traffic information. We will tell you more about it.

Where you do not get live information in the regular TomTom app, this is the case with TomTom AmiGo. You can set your routes and get updates about traffic and traffic jams. In addition, with the TomTom application you can also be kept informed about mobile speed cameras and route controls.

If you become a member of the AmiGo community you can also help other users by, for example, passing on mobile speed cameras via the app. You can also report traffic jams, closed roads and road works. This is only possible when you are on the road. This idea is a bit reminiscent of Waze, but then it uses information from TomTom.

Service

The TomTom AmiGo app has the familiar layout as you are used to from TomTom. Easy and user-friendly. You can set the route by entering an address or a known location such as the name of a gas station or supermarket. When planning your route you can also indicate that you want to avoid toll roads, for example.

You will immediately see what the expected travel time is and of course start the navigation. Furthermore, in the settings you can also choose whether or not to receive certain notifications or how long in advance you will receive a notification. In short; TomTom AmiGo is therefore a useful app on the go.
