50MP main camera, 100% recycled aluminum

Nokia has announced its X30 top-of-the-range device along with the midrange G60 and the affordable T21 tablet. Nokia is primarily concerned with the durability of its products and the camera performance of the X30.

Nokia X30

With its X30 top phone, Nokia wants to make an effort for the climate, it announced in a press release. The frame of the phone is made entirely from recycled aluminum and the back is made of 65 percent recycled plastic. On the other hand, the Finnish brand has also opted for smaller packaging material made from recycled paper.

But of course the specifications of the X30 still matter. Nokia primarily emphasizes that it is the best camera phone in its lineup thanks to its 50MP PureView camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The phone also has a 6.43 screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. Users of the X30 can count on three years of version updates, three years of monthly security patches, and a three-year extended warranty at no additional cost.

Nokia G60 and T21

The G60 is also a sustainable phone, as the back is made from 100 percent recycled plastic and the frame from 60 percent. The phone has a larger 6.58 inch Full HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which allows for smooth animations. This phone has 128 GB of storage and it comes in a model with 4 or 6 GB of RAM. The main camera is also a 50 MP sensor, but without optical image stabilization. Nokia gives the same promises in terms of warranty and updates for its G60 as with the X30.

And finally, the company presents a new tablet: the T21. It is made from recycled aluminum and plastic. This budget tablet comes in a version with and without NFC. The T21 has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage is provided. You can get it in a Wi-Fi only version and a 4G version. The tablet will receive version and security updates for two years.
