Yum. Android 13 gets a fluffy internal nickname

You miss it too “Sweet” labeling of individual versions Android? Google officially ended this nice tradition externally after version 9 “Pie” and the next Android 10 was simply Q. However, substituting nicknames for chronologically moving letters has not completely disappeared, the developers and employees themselves stick to them internally. Android 10, for example, has been identified in the code as Quince Tart, another edition of Red Velvet Cake, and the currently completed twelve, hides the name Snow Cone. Although version 12 is not yet officially out, it is already known nickname for Android 13.

In the last beta version of the twelfth Android, there was a mention in the code that it is coming replace the letter T with the word Tiramisu. Next year, the most used mobile system in the world will bear (at least internally) the nickname after the very popular Italian dessert. It is quite probable that this connection was known for a long time, because it makes perfect sense.
