Your Instagram Stories story may soon be a lot longer
Your story in Instagram Stories can be up to 15 seconds in length. If it lasts longer, it will be split into several fragments. That’s about to change, to compete with other networks like TikTok.
Longer stories in Instagram Stories
Anyone who uses Instagram Stories knows that the fun is ‘over’ after 15 seconds. In other words, your video is sometimes split a little too unpleasantly. A one-minute video consists of four different fragments. That should change soon, as the developers are working on a longer duration for Stories.
The maximum time has been extended for some users. A video shared in Instagram Stories can be up to 60 seconds in length. It is a similar option that competitor TikTok offers to its users. It is unknown when the feature will be available to everyone.
