Xiaomi Redmi K40 is coming to Europe as ‘Poco F3’

The Poco brand, previously known as Xiaomi’s subsidiary brand, is coming to Europe with a new smartphone. This device also shares a lot with a model of the Chinese manufacturer. We learn more about the Poco F3.

Poco F3 is on the way

The Chinese Poco will soon come with a new smartphone for the European market. According to the information known so far, it will be a variant of the Xiaomi Redmi K40. The chance that the Redmi K40 Pro will appear as a Poco F3 Pro will also increase a lot. Because of this name change, we also get to know the specifications of the new device.

In that case, the Poco F3 will receive a Snapdragon 870 chipset, with a working memory between 6 and 12 GB. The internal memory is not expandable and comes standard at 128GB or 256GB. The Poco will get a triple camera with 48MP main lens, 8MP wide angle and 5MP macro lens. A 20MP front camera will be placed in front and the 4520 mAh battery can be charged quickly with 33W. Furthermore, we can expect a 6.67-inch Full-HD + Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. If we look at the specs of the Redmi K40, we also see Android 11 with of course the MIUI skin.
