Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite receives an update on Android 11

Earlier this month, we wrote that the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro are receiving an update on Android 11. Now it’s time for Android 11 for their smaller sibling, Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite. Since the Mi 10i is the same phone, it should be the same.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite gets Android 11, but still only with MIUI 12

Xiaomi officially introduced MIUI earlier this month on 12.5. In addition to new sounds and the appearance of some parts, it also reduces hardware requirements. It is a pity that MIUI 12.5 is planned for the Mi 10T Lite until the end of the second quarter.

The update is called V12.0.2.0.RJSMIXM, brings Android 11, the January security patch and “security enhancement” without any further description (maybe they mean the patch?). MIUI remains in MIUI version 12.0.

GSMArena also mentions that the Redmi 10X receives a similar update in China. In our country, this phone is called Redmi Note 9, but no information about the update to Android 11 for the mentioned model is deleted.

Competition

The competition is not slow with updates. Especially Samsung updates as for life. Since the beginning of this month, he has updated the A51, Note 10 Lite and also the durable Xcover Pro smartphone to Android 11.
