without Alert Slider and Hasselblad collaboration

On August 3, OnePlus will present the new OnePlus 10T. However, the smartphone seems to be stripped down a bit more than expected.

OnePlus 10T gets stripped down

The August 3 date was previously confirmed for the announcement of the OnePlus 10T. Thanks to new messages, we now find out a little more about the upcoming smartphone. It seems that this device is stripped down more than expected. This means that we will have to miss some functions.

The OnePlus 10T, despite being released in the high-end segment, will have to do without Alert Slider. It is a much appreciated functionality of the OnePlus smartphones, where you can quickly set the device to silent, vibrate or sound. High-end devices have been equipped with this handy addition since the OnePlus One. OnePlus has confirmed this news to The Verge. The question is whether future models will still be equipped with it. According to the manufacturer, removing the Alert Slider is necessary for other important components in the device, such as a better antenna, faster charging and a larger battery.

Another major change we see with the OnePlus 10T is the absence of the Hasselblad branding. Precisely this was prominent in other flagships of OnePlus, and put the focus on the camera of the smartphone. It is not known why the Hasselblad branding has disappeared from the device. This is because the main sensor will be a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, which is a slight upgrade from the OnePlus 10 Pro.

OnePlus gives the OnePlus 10T a new antenna setup with 15 separate antennas. Furthermore, a 6.7-inch screen is attached, just like the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a matte black and green color. Find out the rest of the details on August 3. Of course DroidApp reports on this.
