WhatsApp has made a number of changes to the design in the latest beta version that it has rolled out, WhatsApp 2.21.18.1. In the design of WhatsApp’s Android app, we see a series of minor changes that can now be noticed by users. It involves subtle adjustments in the interface and design of the application.

The color green in the chat window, of the chat bubbles, has been adjusted. In both the light and dark theme, this one is just a different shade of green. The status bar has also been given the same background color. We also see that WhatsApp has aligned the colors of the send button/microphone in the new green color as the chat bubbles. The status bar at the top of the screen, of the start screen, has also been given a different color green. This new color style is also reflected in the status update ring and several other elements in WhatsApp.
