In 2011, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine released Relic. The intended trilogy ended in the first part, and it seemed that we would never know what happened next with the dreaded Marines. Ten years later, hopes were shining, because the sequel will indeed be.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is not made by the original creators, but by the Saber Interactive studio, but otherwise it is an obvious sequel to the well-known characters. First of all, there is the main character, Captain Titus, who shows his charming face in the very shot of the epic trailer. He seems to have escaped the clutches of the Inquisition, which is a person worthy of a hero. At the same time, however, he also crossed the Rubicon and was transformed by the operation into a larger, stronger and nicer armored Marine … but during this process he apparently lost his rank because he currently has the lieutenant’s brand on his armor.
The announcement video shows a nice contrast between elite Marines who don’t go far for heroism and ordinary people, ordinary soldiers who die in the name of the Imperial Guard. At the same time, we learn who we will face this time – very large crowds of Tyranids.
The great movie is followed by a quick cut of frenetic shots from the gameplay, and if we can blame the trailer for something, then the absence of a release date. We don’t know a year at the moment, but it is confirmed that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will no longer release old-generation consoles. Count on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S.
