“What do those beasts look like?”
These ticklish animals are harmless, but they are a lot of hassle. Sanne, Micky’s mother, knows all about it. “From the moment my son went to school, the teachers have been asking: ‘Do you still check your children for lice?'” She says. “I didn’t even know how to do that: what do those animals look like at all? Micky is very blonde, so I thought: ‘You can see that with the naked eye, right?’.” And sure enough, when Sanne was in the shower with her son after a few weeks, she saw something black. “I thought it was a bit of fluff, but when I looked closely, I suddenly knew: ‘He has lice! What now?”
