The principle of the USB mug warmer is actually very simple. You plug the USB plug into your computer or another place with a USB port. The USB mug warmer then starts to heat up as the built-in resistance wire starts to glow. This keeps your mug at the right temperature. It is, as it were, a mini hob. This way you can enjoy the coffee for a long time without it cooling down and you can feel the beneficial growing heat slip inside.
