Ubisoft has just announced a remake of Splinter Cell -apkrig
Although Ubisoft has had countless opportunities during the year to respond to players’ long-standing wishes and announce another game in the Splinter Cell series, it does so. at Wednesday evening through a post on the official blog. It also includes a video that explains in particular the motivation to embark on the development of the remake, which is now officially announced. The development is led by a studio in Toronto and, according to available information, the entire project is still at the beginning of the production process.
Another game starring Sam Fisher has been speculated for years. Ubisoft himself broadcast a number of signals, such as casting the agent in other games, but we always lacked the expected announcement and response to what the players called for. But now the wish – at least on paper – is becoming a reality and it seems that work is really beginning on a remake of the original game from 2002. “The game will be created from scratch on our Snowdrop engine, which powers the games Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Wars, ”the developers say at the beginning and promise the visual effects and gameplay of the new generation. The three developers – creative director Chris Auty, producer Matt West and technical producer Peter Handrinos – bring more information in a very extensive interview and in the attached video.
At the beginning of the interview, there is an explanation that creating a remaster of a 19-year-old game did not seem like a good idea to Ubisoft and the mentioned developers. Just because everything has moved over the years and how the taste of the players has shifted, it was said that it was necessary to approach the new game more responsibly and put a lot more effort into it. But the result should not be far from the original concept, and the developers are trying to work out the remake with all due respect to the original substance. By the way, this means that the new Splinter Cell does not throw the player into the open world, but introduces him to a series of levels in which he will have to deal with the available equipment and abilities of the protagonist.
