Twitter prepares photos and videos in the same tweet and other novelties
New features are being prepared on the Twitter side and some of them have been discovered by 9to5Google. The site dug into the code of the social network’s Android app. But it is also to be expected that the novelties will land on iOS and on the Web.
Changes coming to Twitter
One of the future novelties of Twitter is the possibility of posting a tweet mixing images and a video. Currently, it is possible to post a tweet that contains up to four images or a video. But it is not possible to mix the two. This will change in the future.

Another novelty concerns rewards, which may recall the system on Reddit. A button will allow users to give a reward to a tweet and that tweet will display the number of rewards received. It is possible that this system is reserved for Twitter Blue, namely the paid subscription of the social network. But this remains to be confirmed.
A third change spotted allows you to put a status on tweets. “Join” and “Discover” buttons are also present. This suggests that it will be a feature used for profile and tweet discovery.
There is currently no date for the implementation of the various new features mentioned above for Twitter.
