Twitter limits the number of tweets that can be read each day

Elon Musk announces the implementation of a daily limit for Twitter regarding the number of tweets that can be read by each user. This affects both free users and those with the paid Twitter Blue subscription.

In a tweet, Elon Musk announces that verified users (i.e. those who pay for Twitter Blue) are entitled to read 8,000 tweets per day. For free users, the limit is 800 tweets per day. And for new free accounts, that’s 400 tweets a day. Beyond that, an error message is displayed, indicating that the daily limit has been reached.

You should know that the limits were lower at the start. It was about 6,000, 600 and 300 tweets per day respectively. But Elon Musk has since announced a change.

But a question arises: why impose such limits? Elon Musk says he does “to address extreme levels of data collection and system manipulation”. The owner of the social network assures that many groups come to Twitter to collect a large amount of data and that this behavior is not acceptable in his eyes.

Elon Musk assures that the limits are temporary, but he does not specify when everything will return to normal.
