Tikkie adds ‘Groupie’ function to share payment requests with groups

A handy new feature has been added to the Tikkie app. ABN Amro, the maker of the application, adds the ‘Groupie’ option. This allows you to keep track of expenses with several people and thus divide the costs fairly.

The Tikkie app from the bank ABN Amro has been expanded with a handy function. The new option called ‘Groupie’ allows you to quickly and easily share costs with others. Groupie allows you to track the expenses of an entire group. Handy after, for example, an evening with friends at the pub, a team outing or a (large) party. Rogier Brinker of Tikkie says the following about Groepie;

“Tikkie is often used to settle the costs that a person advances. With Groepie it is now also possible to track and settle costs together: a super handy functionality that many users needed.”

All group expenses can be viewed in the Tikkie app. This can be a very useful addition not only in the short term, but also in the long term. For example, costs in a student house can easily be shared and you can see exactly what has been purchased. At the end of the journey, the costs can be shared fairly.

The update for the Tikkie app is now available in the Google Play Store.
