This way you can easily find the keyboard shortcuts of your Chromebook

Of course you can get very far with your mouse, but there is also something about using hotkeys. It’s faster, you can just leave your hands on your keyboard and – let’s be honest – it looks extra professional. But, how do you quickly find those shortcuts?

Many people know Control-C and Control-V, but how can you quickly open a window, print something or reopen a window? It is useful to know the key combinations, because then you don’t have to be difficult. ChromeOS is bursting with shortcuts, the faster ways to get where you want to be.

Fortunately, you can easily enable a hotkey hub if you want to know a certain button combination. Whether you use it to teach yourself or just because you don’t want to learn it but want to keep looking it up, it doesn’t matter. Soon there will be only one shortcut that you need to know or quickly get to that key overview.

You can easily bring up the shortcut list by pressing Alt + / on your Chromebook. You will then see a pop-up open with various options such as tabs, system settings, accessibility, but also the popular shortcuts. Of course you can always google for the shortcuts, but this is just a bit faster. Handy if you have no idea where the caps lock button is and how you still get the same effect (because, spoiler alert: there is no caps lock button on a Chromebook).

All you have to do now is remember that one hotkey that will allow you to access all the others. So that’s Alt + /. Do not forget. This button combination really only works on a Chromebook: if you do this in Windows, nothing will happen.
