This is what the virtual offices of the Androidworld editors look like

Androidworld is based in Haarlem, but the editors mainly work at home, on the road and wherever there is an electrical outlet nearby. Are you curious where Sebastien, Dimitry, Jelle, Laura and Claudia spend the most time to provide Androidworld with beautiful content every day? Then read on!

Sebastian’s office

Seb likes a spacious desk first and foremost. At Androidworld we regularly receive products for review and if they are given a temporary place on the desk, it can quickly become messy.

It’s a good thing that the editors don’t work in the same office space every day, because the way Seb intensely beats the buttons on his mechanical keyboard would drive anyone crazy. Poor and innocent Logitech. On an office day in Haarlem, Claudia always wears her noise canceling headphones. We wonder why…

After 10 years of working from home, Dimitry rented an office in Rotterdam this year. There he has a space in the old tax building on the Puntegaalstraat (Pluk-me-kaal-straat in the vernacular) with a magnificent view over the Euromast, the Maas and the center of Rotterdam. In addition to his desk and the like, he has also set up his podcast studio there, which he is very happy with.

Laura’s office

Laura: “My office is my lap. When corona started, did I invest in a nice bamboo desk, a monitor and a mechanical keyboard? Yes, but then boxes of my online shopping addiction and the review devices ended up there and I have maybe two days. I usually sit like a shrimp on the couch, not exactly ergonomically sound. But the ideal office to ‘watch’ bad TV programs like Fboy Island in the meantime. With a cat next to me. At least when I’m home am: I am also a notorious nice-working-while-traveling person, so in the car, on the plane, next to the swimming pool and even recently when I got a tattoo in the meantime: my laptop is a kind of third arm I can be jealous are, for example, on Claudia’s tidy ultra workplace that you can view below.”

Office Claudia

Claudia has been content lead at Androidworld for many years and harasses the editors with questions, comments, improvements and so on. An annoying gif every now and then in between should also be possible. That’s what Claudia thinks. Claudia can’t stand mess and that’s why she has a clean-desk policy.
