With Android 12, Oppo also comes with a new skin for the smartphone. We see this in ColorOS 12, the latest skin from the manufacturer. We now get a sneak peek, where we get to see what Oppo is up to.

Thanks to the ColorOS 12 announcement, we already know a few things about the new skin that Oppo will deliver with Android 12. The update will probably reach the first devices in the coming months. For the Oppo Find X3 Pro, the brand has started the beta of Android 12. Thanks to the German colleagues from NextPit, we already get a nice preview of what ColorOS 12 will look like.

It is clear that Oppo has put a lot of work into the ‘internationalization’ of the skin. This translates into a much more tidy interface with better organization and thus a better overview. From the interface you have many customization options at your disposal. It seems that Material You and Dynamic Theme are mainly intended for the Pixels. Oppo does give you the option to create themes with ColorOS 12, where the colors adapt to those of the wallpaper.

For the Always On Display, Oppo uses a technical tour de force from OnePlus. It is the Canvas mode where the contours of the background are copied onto the black background. Oppo lets you customize the icons and also works with animations. Some features of Xiaomi’s MIUI can be recognized and the setting menus have also been renewed. You also get a better insight into the energy consumption and you can adjust the color rendering to your own eyesight. Furthermore, various parts should be easier to operate with one hand. With the adaptive dark mode, the intensity can be changed in 3 stages.
