This is supposed to be the first smart watch from Facebo … namely Meta
It has been talked for some time that Facebook Inc. plans to market their own smart watch. Before this actually happens, which the following information quite reliably suggests, the company still managed to release a special edition of glasses, offered customers a pair of VR headsets and, last but not least, changed its name to a few hours ago. Meta Platforms Inc. Under the new sticker, he wants, among other things, to work on his own gigantic “virtual world”, to which exactly modern gadgets belong perfectly. Thanks to the cleverly scratched escape we now have the opportunity to see what the mentioned smartwatch could look like.
Bloomberg received a photo of the watch from a related developer, which is hidden in the Facebook View application. It is used to control the glasses that Facebook created with Ray-Ben. Watches, by the way so far named as Milan, could therefore use the same application. In any case, we have the opportunity to see a watch in the picture that is strikingly reminiscent of, for example, the Apple Watch, even though it has one extra essential element. That element is front camera.
According to this background, Facebook / Meta smart watches should bet on a square display, around which there will be a slightly rounded frame. The button on the right should also be used for control. The presence of the camera may be surprising at first glance, but in fact fits perfectly into the company’s plans. We just aren’t entirely sure if it’s a good idea to place the camera at the bottom. The design shown may not be completely final as it is it is said that it continues to work with several variants. After months without any hints, however, we now have at least a little idea of where the American giant is heading.
