Netflix also launches games for iPhone and iPad -apkrig

Netflix announcedthat today it will also make mobile games available to its subscribers on phones and tablets with the iOS and iPadOS operating systems, respectively. In the end, this is happening even earlier than we thought last week after the premiere on Android. At the time, only the streaming giant indicated that Apple’s customers were counting, but it would happen later.

The same games should be available for Apple’s operating system as on Android, that is, Stranger Things: 1984, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Shooting Hoops, Teeter Up and Card Blast. In addition, the rhythmic game Hextech Mayhem, inspired by the phenomenon of League of Legends, will be added. But according to Netflix, it will arrive later. In addition to Netflix subscribers, PC and Switch owners will also be able to enjoy it on November 16.

Of course, the titles themselves are not streamed, but they are native programs for the platform. As on Android, it is necessary to download games outside the Netflix application, in this case, of course, in the App Store. Netflix, which recently bought the authors Oxenfree from the Night School Studio team, has repeatedly indicated that it would like to expand its gaming portfolio and think about its own exclusive original content, similar to movies and series. We’ll see if he finally dares to do other platforms and bigger titles as well.

It is worth repeating that Netflix promises to offer all games within the existing subscription, without any price increase, without ads and other hidden microtransactions. Some will also play offline similar to Apple Arcade, but this is not a requirement.
