Control Center gets an overhaul in iOS 17
Reportedly, iOS 17 will bring a completely new control panel to your iPhone. Control Center is the screen you see when you swipe down from the top right edge of the screen. On an iPhone with Touch ID, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

The last time Apple updated the control panel was in 2017, with the release of iOS 11. Then a completely renewed control panel came to the iPhone X. With the control panel you can currently mainly perform quick tasks, such as turning on – or turn off Wi-Fi and adjust the screen brightness. This will probably change in iOS 17.
New in iOS 17: Personalize control panel
One of the new features in iOS 17 is the personalization of the control panel. Now you can choose from only a limited number of functions to add to the control center, such as notes, sound recognition or your Apple Wallet. So you do have a choice of a number of controls, but this choice is limited to apps that Apple has selected.
In iOS 17 this is no longer the case, because you then decide for yourself what you do and do not add to the control center. It is expected that you will be able to set many more controllers than is currently the case. For example, it will soon be possible to add a shortcut to, for example, WhatsApp or Instagram.

You can also probably decide for yourself how to set up the control panel in iOS 17, then controls such as screen brightness and volume are no longer in a fixed place. That way you will soon have much more freedom in compiling the control center. We already saw a similar update in iOS 16 with the home screen, with which you decide how your clock looks.
New iOS update will appear in September
iOS 17 is getting some cool new features and will most likely be announced at Apple’s WWDC in June. In September, iOS 17 can then be installed on all iPhones that receive support for the new update.
