Lots of new features on your iPad
A new software version for your iPad is finally out! iPadOS has the same features as iOS 15.4, but with one extra: universal control. In English this is called Universal Control and it is the connection between your iPad and your Mac. The feature lets you use your Mac’s mouse to control your iPad. You can also easily drag and drop files back and forth via ‘drag & drop’.
Other features in iPadOS 15.4 include new emojis (with pregnant man and sensual lips), adding notes to your iCloud keychain, and activating SharePlay from the Share menu. In addition, the brightness of your iPad keyboard can now be adjusted more easily in Control Center.
Install iPadOS 15.4 on your iPad
Apple has therefore released new software updates for the iPhone and iPad. iPadOS 15.4 is now available to download and install. We therefore recommend that you install the latest version of iOS 15 on your smartphone and/or tablet as soon as possible. In addition to the new functions, it is also important for security. Follow the step-by-step plan below:
- Make sure your iPad battery is at least half full or hang it on the charger;
- Go to the Settings app and tap “General”;
- In this menu, choose ‘Software update’ and search for the most recent update;
- Did your iPad find it? Follow the directions on your iPad.
Does iPadOS 15.4 not immediately appear on the screen? Then you have to wait. Just after the release, many people try to download the update. In the meantime, consider creating a backup.
