The most beautiful smartphone according to Claudia (Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra)

The best smartphone from 2021, according to Androidworld readers, is also the most beautiful smartphone ever made, according to Claudia. The most expensive phone in the Galaxy S21 series had the challenge of processing the camera island in a more beautiful and subtle way than was the case with the Galaxy S20 Ultra and the Note 20 Ultra. These devices had a gigantic camera bump on the back to process the technology behind the camera. And you can say that this has more than been successful with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. The camera island of this device flows flawlessly into the side of the device and at the same time gives the device its own unique look.

Claudia said in her review: “The Galaxy S21 series 5G introduces an iconic Contour Cut Camera housing that blends into the metal frame, according to Samsung. Contour Cut Camera stands for the camera module on the back that, like the Note 21 Ultra, protrudes quite a bit, but is still more integrated into the housing. That’s because Samsung lets the module continue into the side of the phone. This makes it look more like one, than the Note 20, and I think they’ve succeeded in that.

The most beautiful smartphone according to Sebastien (Samsung Galaxy S10e)

Sebastien sees it all for himself. Driving past the art in a yellow Ferrari with bright yellow Galaxy Buds in his ears. Of course he finds his way through Google Maps that runs on the dashboard on the phone. And this phone is also completely in style. According to Sebastien, the most beautiful smartphone ever is the yellow Samsung Galaxy S10e. The smallest brother from the Galaxy S10 series from 2019.

The Samsung Galaxy S10e was one of three devices from the Galaxy S1o series. It was the cheapest and smallest of the three and had slightly less options to offer compared to its bigger brothers. For example, this phone lacked the telephoto lens and the base model had less working memory. However, with its 5.8 inch screen, the device was wonderfully compact and therefore very easy to operate with one hand. In addition, the S10e, in addition to black and white, came on the market in various cheerful colors. Colors such as blue, green, red and so (canary) yellow. Despite the fact that the device was the (slightly) lesser phone from the S10 series, the device was indeed a premium device. The Galaxy S10e had a glass housing with an aluminum frame. This makes the Samsung Galaxy S10e, according to Sebastien, without a doubt the most beautiful smartphone ever.

The most beautiful smartphone according to Stella (Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE)

According to Stella, the blue Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (New Edition) is the most beautiful phone. The device mainly comes with a very slim, colorful and light design. The device weighs only about 160 grams and is therefore one of the lightest smartphones of the moment. With its 6.8 millimeters, the device is also nice and narrow.

The device also has a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device also has three cameras on the back. This is a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle lens and a 5 MP macro camera. These cameras are, just like with the Xiaomi 11, concealed in the design in their own way.

The most beautiful smartphone according to Dimitry HTC One M7

The HTC One M7 was one of the first smartphones to use a metal housing. What made the HTC One M7 unique, however, is that it was made almost entirely of metal. This made the device really unique. However, aluminum ensures that signals are blocked and that is why HTC was faced with the task of solving this. However, they solved this at the time, and how!

The way HTC had incorporated the antenna lines in the design was sublime. They were processed very tightly in the design and even made the device look even better. To complete the design, the device also had ‘dual front speakers’ that were ethically pleasing to the eye, and also provided a beautiful sound. With this beautiful and luxurious design, the HTC One was miles ahead of the competition in that area. Competitors at the time, think of devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the LG G2, used glossy plastic and could therefore not match the premium design of the HTC One (M7). All this, according to Dim, makes the HTC One M7 the most beautiful smartphone ever made.

The most beautiful smartphone according to Jelle (the undersigned- HTC One M8)

In 2014, HTC released the successor to the HTC One M7, the HTC One M8. A truly beautiful smartphone. The device had a beautiful and wonderfully feeling aluminum housing with curves that still melts your heart. Furthermore, the HTC One M8 had a so-called ‘unibody housing’, which in this case meant that the back of the device consisted of one piece of aluminum that ran from screen edge to screen edge. The color ‘Gun metal gray’ suited the device very well.

The design really lived up to the design of the Galaxy S5, about which we tell more in this article. Besides the design, the HTC One M8 also excelled in multimedia. The device had a beautiful screen and ‘boom sound’ speakers that showed off on the front of the device. However, the HTC One M8 was not the success that HTC had expected. The sales figures started well, but completely collapsed after a month. This was partly due to the camera of the device, which was very poor. At the time, HTC was firmly convinced of the ‘ultrapixel’ principle. A camera with a large image sensor and relatively large pixels that could capture a lot of light. But with only four megapixels, the camera did not shoot detailed photos, and this was the Achilles’ heel of the device.

The most beautiful smartphones today

Smartphones have become more and more similar in recent years. The big difference now often lies in where the punch-hole is placed and/or how many cameras a device has and where they are located. Yet there are still smartphones that stand out in terms of design. For example, Samsung has let the cameras run through the side of the device in a beautiful way with the Galaxy S21 series. This means that the camera modules have a nicer design than the large, thick camera islands that we saw especially last year. Google has also opted for a fairly creative design with its Google Pixel 6, with its striking horizontal camera island. Nice to see, but as we were able to read in Sebastien’s review, not the most practical solution.
