Freedom to travel is probably one of the greatest achievements of a good social system. But not everywhere in the world do people enjoy this privilege. For example, people with an Afghan passport can only travel to 27 countries without a visa. We therefore show you: the most powerful passports worldwide.

The most powerful passports in the world

The Henley Passport Index deals with the world’s most powerful passports. A corresponding ranking records all countries whose passports allow most trips without a prior visa.

The evaluation is based on data from the largest travel information database (IATA for short). In the following ranking we show you the ten most powerful passports in the world.

10th place: Lithuania & Slovakia

Tenth place goes to Lithuania and Slovakia. In total 183 Countries can be traveled with a passport from these two countries. These include, for example, Bulgaria, Latvia and Cyprus.
