The Wear OS watch is said to hear a long-standing request from lefties
Are you a lefty? What it’s like when it doesn’t exist for you the ability to rotate the screen and are you doomed to, among other things, control through the buttons on the (mostly) right side? As the discussion thread on the site shows Wear OS support, there are a large number of lefties who do not like this restriction and are calling for a change. They have been calling for almost four years, but now they have finally been heard.
Wear OS by Google Smartwatch
It was written on April 26, 2018, when one of the users asked Google if it would be possible to introduce a screen rotation on a smart watch (then with the predecessor of the Wear OS called Android Wear). Since then, more and more supporters have joined his request, and it almost seemed that the pressure was going nowhere. A few days ago, however, a message appeared in the thread that the “problem” was solved. The official representative added that a software rotation of the dial and other content on the display will be available at the upcoming watch.
So we can probably expect the function to be part of some future one Wear OS 3 update. So far, only the last Galaxy Watch is running with this system and it is waiting for the next market. It would be nice if the new models arrived straight with this gadget. Not only would a crowd of lefties make it happy, but also to some right – handers who for some reason do not like the location of buttons or other elements.
How many left-handers do you know?
