The Shock System remake will be released by Prime Matter next year -apkrig

Prime Matter, a giant Embracer, has announced that she concluded partnering with Nightdive Studios to release a System Shock remake. On this occasion, both companies stated that it will be published – finally – next year. We also got fresh screenshots and you can still try the older demo on Steam.

This is the first similar external publishing store Nightdive, and according to the head of the studio, it should be an important step in the further growth of the company. It will allow System Shock to be offered to fans around the world physically and digitally, and to deliver on all promises and commitments, including those from the crowdfunding campaign.

It is worth remembering that the improved System Shock was born for a relatively long time and repeatedly changed its shape and depth. Gradually, the remaster became a full-fledged remake. The authors announced plans for it two months after the release of System Shock: Enhanced Edition in September 2015. In July 2016, he succeeded in the Kickstarter campaign. Gradually, the authors moved from the Unity engine to Unreal, expanded the supported platforms, and we received several demo versions that demonstrated how the title was developing technologically.

But the complex development still looks better than System Shock 3, which apparently found itself on the ice in its latest version. Its authors have not spoken for a year and a half. You can find more details about these projects in our archive. We also recently informed you that System Shock will see its own feature series, which will be broadcast on the new Binge streaming service.
