The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is said to be helped by Olympus with photography

In April this year, there were reports that Samsung could slow down the hunt for as many megapixels as possible in mobile cameras for the Galaxy S22. After a few months and more leaks, it looks more like the opposite and even talks about 200MPx main sensor, which is almost doubling the current maximum. Speculations of interesting cooperation have now been added to several numerical estimates. Samsung could say for the Galaxy S22 series Invite the famous Olympus to a photography solution.

As for the sensors and lenses themselves, the South Korean mobile giant probably doesn’t need much help in this area. So there is more talk (sources vary, however) that the Japanese partner could address postprocessing and other additional software processing slides. Similar collaborations between mobile phone manufacturers and explicitly “photo” companies are nothing new. Sometimes it’s the lenses or sensors themselves, other times it’s just additional adjustments. So let’s see what Samsung and Olympus will prepare.

Which brands of cameras (other than mobile phones) do you support?
