Qualcomm presents its first own smartphone; the EXP21
Qualcomm is a well-known name in the smartphone world. The manufacturer is responsible for the processor in a large number of devices. Now the brand presents its own smartphone with the name ‘Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders’ and type number EXP21. The phone will also be released in Europe.

Not only processors come from the Qualcomm factory. The manufacturer has now announced its own smartphone. The phone is of course equipped with the Snapdragon 888 chipset from the company itself. For the realization of the smartphone, there is collaboration with Asus. There is 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. We also see a 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2448 x 1080 pixels. It offers a refresh rate of 144Hz. Qualcomm also gives the device Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, just like the 3D Sonic Sensor Gen 2 fingerprint scanner.
The Qualcomm Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders, which is also described as the EXP21, has stereo speakers and comes with a triple camera. This is a 64-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For the selfies, there is a 24 megapixel front camera. Qualcomm also provides the device with a 4000 mAh battery with 65W charging and Android 11 is also present. The phone measures 173.15 x 77.25 x 9.55 millimeters and weighs 210 grams.
Qualcomm releases its own smartphone in several countries, with at least Germany, the United Kingdom, China and the United States on the list. More countries may follow in the future. The price is $1499. For that money, Premium Earbuds and the Charging Case are also included, just like a Quick Charge 5 adapter and a case.
