The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE in the 4G version came out in the middle of last year and earned praise for the best ratio of parameters and prices on the market. This even helped him get a nomination in the Nay Android Year 2020 poll. Earlier this year, its 5G version was launched, which became as popular as its predecessor with LTE support.

It is Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G that is now receiving an update numbered G781BXXU4CUH5, which brings the September 11 security patch to Android 11. At the same time, it should improve the stability of the device. The update is 790 MB in size and is currently running in the following countries: Austria, Italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Slovenia, the Nordic countries, the Czech Republic, Poland, and the Baltics.

Slovakia should follow in the coming days. According to the official website of the manufacturer, the system should notify you of the update automatically. If this does not happen, you can check its availability in the section Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update. Before installation, make sure that your smartphone battery is at least 70% charged.

How’s competition with updates?

There is also competition in the updates. The popular Chinese brand OnePlus this week brought Android 11 for three-year-old OnePlus 6 and 6T smartphones. Another Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi, has updated nine Xiaomi MI 11 and Mi 10 models to the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced.
