The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G is another model that got Android 12

South Korean manufacturer Samsung started updating the popular model yesterday Samsung Galaxy S20 FE on the system Android 12 and superstructure One UI 4.0. The information was provided by the portal SamMobile.

The update is currently only available for the 4G version of the smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has been one of the most popular smartphones on the market for more than a year since its release. The reason is the excellent ratio of parameters and price. The update with Android 12 was launched in Malaysia for the model with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset (SM-G780G) and 4G connectivity. Its numbering is G780GXXU3BUL9.

The update for the 5G version of the smartphone, which came a few months later, is likely to come with less delay. The update also includes a December security patch that fixes several bugs in the system. Some Samsung smartphones have already received January security.

The update is distributed in the form of OTA and the system should notify you of its availability automatically. Of course, you can also check availability manually in the system section Settings -> Software Update -> Download and Install. Before updating, make sure your smartphone battery is at least 70% charged and connected to a free Wi-Fi network.

We expect that the update will also arrive for models that were purchased in Slovakia. If you have already received the update, please let us know in the comments below this article.

How is the competition?

The competition is also active in the updates. The Android 12 recently received the Nokia G50 or Asus Zenfone 8 and 8 Flip flagship smartphones. And last year’s OnePlus 9 received an update a few days ago that fixed several bugs in the system.
