The RAM is blown out by other Samsung mobile phones via RAM Plus

In mid-September, we learned that Samsung has become one of the manufacturers and developers who are adding the ability to virtual memory expansion at the expense of ordinary storage. The so-called RAM Plus was first made available by the Korean giant to the owners of the new Galaxy A52S 5G phone, which was sold in India at the time. As expected, a handy feature that tries to eliminate the possible lack of free operating memory and the risk of forcibly stopping applications with additional backup space, gradually moving to other mobile phones. Galaxy, for example, now seems to be one of the newly supported phones A52 5G a Galaxy With Fold3.

While this novelty is not completely unexpected with the first mentioned mobile phone, in the case of the latest horizontal flex it is a big surprise. Of course, RAM Plus makes the most sense for weaker phones, which are not basically equipped with such a large amount of RAM. The four gigabyte bonus for the Galaxy A52’s six gigabyte cache is very nice and probably also usable bonus.

In the case of a phone with twelve gigabytes of RAM, this already seems almost useless. It’s hard to say what motives Samsung led to this decision. Maybe it’s about some testing. In any case, the Galaxy Z Fold3 also has this option. RAM Plus always offers the same amount of extra memory, its size cannot be changed.

How satisfied are you with the amount of RAM in your mobile?
