Windows 11 is coming soon! In our opinion, these Windows 11 features should in any case be included.
Microsoft once announced that Windows 10 would be the last version of the desktop operating system. The company will come back to that, because it seems that Windows 11 will be available at the end of this month.
Windows 11 features
Of course, here and there some functionalities have already been leaked, but what should it really be? Windows has been around for so long, and it actually works quite well. However, there are still some features that should have been there for a long time, or that really should be included now.
Performance to rival ChromeOS
Windows 10X is not coming. All is not lost, however, much of the work will come in Windows 11. 10X should actually become a rival to ChromeOS, but apparently that doesn’t work and the plug was pulled. The most important work from 10X is now coming to Windows 10. This should mean that it will soon be agile enough to run on limited, energy-efficient components and powerful PCs. Windows 10 has filled up over the years and trying to run it on a system with a low-end processor and slightly less than 8 GB of memory is almost impossible.
Xbox games on your PC
Microsoft, of course, has Xbox at home. With Xbox Game Pass, the company has gold on its hands, which is a subscription service that gives you access to a huge library of games on both Xbox console and PC. Why not make more use of this? For example, by building this into Windows 11, this has the advantage that gamers on their PC or laptop can pick up where they left off on the console.
Nice usable interface
Well, the current interface can get an update. Windows 10 now has both a beautiful and modern settings menu, as well as an old-fashioned control panel. That is actually not part of the most widely used operating system in the world. Every now and then you imagine yourself in the nineties with regard to some design elements. Apparently Microsoft has quite a bit of trouble letting this go, they’ve been getting this comment for years. But they don’t do anything about it (yet). Maybe this time.
