The Last of Us: new trailer for the promising HBO series
Series The Last of Us from HBO reveals itself a little more today with a new trailer. This is particularly the opportunity to have sequences where Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) interact. As a reminder, the first trailer was released in September.
Based on the video game, The Last of Us takes place 20 years after the destruction of modern civilization. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to rescue 14-year-old Ellie from an oppressive quarantine zone. What begins as a small job quickly becomes a brutal and harrowing journey as they both must cross the United States and depend on each other to survive.
In addition to Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, the cast includes Gabriel Luna (Tommy), Anna Torv (Tess), Nico Parker (Sarah), Murray Bartlett (Frank), Nick Offerman (Bill), Melanie Lynskey (Kathleen), Storm Reid (Riley), Merle Dandridge (Marlene), Jeffrey Pierce (Perry), Lamar Johnson (Henry), Keivonn Woodard (Sam), Graham Greene (Marlon), and Elaine Miles (Florence). Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker, who were respectively Ellie and Joel in the video game (in English), will also be present.
Series The Last of Us will debut on January 15, 2023 on HBO. It is still not specified which will be the broadcaster in France. HBO content normally arrives on OCS in France, but nothing is less certain this time around because the agreement between the two groups is coming to an end.
