IKEA and Sonos come with Symfonisk floor lamp

A new floor lamp with a wireless speaker in it, it is the new Symfonisk floor lamp that Sonos and IKEA are releasing together. The two manufacturers have been jointly releasing smart products for some time now.

IKEA and Sonos have realized a new product. It is a new smart home product in the portfolio that will be offered from January for an amount of 199 euros. It is a product in the Symfonisk line, a floor lamp that also functions as a wireless speaker. The floor lamp stands on three legs. You can exchange the lampshades for one with a different design, because these are sold separately at the Swedish furniture chain. For example, there is a bamboo lampshade.

As you would expect, the speaker is equipped with all connectivity options. This means you can connect it with Apple AirPlay and Spotify Connect. The lamps can also be used with the IKEA Home app. They connect via WiFi, although there is also an Ethernet connection. You can generate a surround effect by linking the speakers to other Sonos speakers.
