The Lumia 535 was released by Microsoft in late 2014. The device is aimed at users who are looking for a smartphone with basic functions and is budget-friendly. The price of the device came out at 119 euros.

The Lumia 535 offered a 5.0 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The screen was scratch resistant thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The back of the device was made of plastic and the device was released in colors; black, white, green, blue, gray and orange.

Camera and specs

There was a camera on both the front and back of the Lumia 535. The rear camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels and has an LED flash. The front camera also offered a resolution of 5 megapixels, which also made selfies possible with the Lumia.

The Microsoft Lumia 535 was equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and 1 GB of RAM. The device provided 8 GB of internal storage, which was expandable with a microSD card up to 128 GB. The device has a removable 1905 mAh battery that you could change yourself.

Windows Phone 8.1

The Lumia 535 ran on Windows Phone 8.1 with the Lumia Denim update. Users had access to the Microsoft Store, where you could find applications and games. There are also some pre-installed apps, such as Microsoft Office and OneDrive. Later, Microsoft released an update to Windows Phone 10. The Lumia 535 supported 3G and WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. An FM radio could also be found on Microsoft’s smartphone.

In the Netherlands, the Microsoft Lumia 535 was released for an amount of 119 euros.
