“Apple Watch Series 7 is almost there, but limited availability”

With a new design, bigger screen and faster chip, the Apple Watch Series 7 is worth the wait. But you may have to wait longer than you hoped.

Read on after the ad.

Apple Watch Series 7 stock

Last week there were rumors that the Apple Watch Series 7 is dealing with production problems. The big question is therefore: will this delay the launch of the new Watch? There is now good and bad news about this.

The good news: Apple is likely to announce the new Apple Watch Series 7 very soon. This reports Mark Gurman by Bloomberg in his newsletter. The launch should happen during the iPhone event, which is likely to take place next week (September 14 or 15).

The bad news is that stock of the Apple Watch Series 7 is likely to be very limited. “I expect we’ll see an announcement at the usual September event, but some models will be shipped late or in small quantities,” Gurman writes.

Gurman also doesn’t rule out that you can’t pre-order the new Watch next week at all. Usually, the announced products can be ordered the Friday after the Apple event. This year, that day falls on Friday, September 17, but it remains to be seen whether you can pre-order the Series 7 then.

Innovations

Gurman also repeats previous rumors about the Series 7. The watches will have larger screens of 41 and 45 millimeters. The display of the larger model measures 1.9 inches, making the display approximately between 20 and 30 percent larger than before.

There are no new health features. The focus this year would be on a new design with flatter bezels, the larger screen and a new chip. You can read other expected innovations in the article about the Apple Watch Series 7 rumors.

What is also interesting is that there is a good chance that the Apple Watch will receive 4G support in the Netherlands. Discovered this iPhoned based on an Apple support article. An Apple Watch with 4G is already available in Belgium, Germany and France, for example, but in the Netherlands we still have to make do with an Apple Watch without LTE support.
