For the real music lover, Nokia has released several devices with the label XpressMusic. Recently Nokia even presented the new Nokia 5710; a phone with space to store the wireless earbuds! In 2007, the Finnish manufacturer released the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic; a phone with all the options for the music lover. That was also immediately characteristic of the design of the device. First, the 5310 appeared in the stylish black-red color combination.

Nokia supplied the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic with a 2.1 inch color screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Characteristic of the 5310 are the control buttons on the side of the screen. With this you could directly control the music player. Think of pausing, playing or going to the previous or next track. The speaker of the XpressMusic device was well reviewed; this meant good sound quality with good sound levels and good dynamic range. Not very surprising for a device that had high regard for music. Nokia supplied the device with a special audio chip for this.

The red and black Nokia mobile phone was of course equipped with an FM radio. However, the Nokia was also available in the color combination black-blue and completely black. Of course, this phone was also equipped with games such as Snake. There were also various tools such as a world clock, converter for conversion (think of degrees Fahrenheit to degrees) and a stopwatch. Another included application was Nokia Sensor. This made it easy to search for other Bluetooth devices and exchange things in this way.

The Nokia 5310 was equipped with a 2.0 megapixel camera and came with Series S40 operating system. The Finns launched the XpressMusic phone with an 860 mAh battery. There was also Bluetooth and 2G support on board. The use of 3G was not possible. Full of musical qualities, the weight came in at just 71 grams. The phone was easy to handle with the dimensions 103.8 x 44.7 x 9.9 millimeters. Nokia released the XpressMusic phone in 2007 for around 170 euros. In 2020, Nokia released a 2020 edition of the Nokia 5310.
