The following iPhone software has a great upgrade
The upcoming iPhone software 15.2 has something new which is a good upgrade.
The new iPhone software was announced at the last WWDC event. Multiple additions were introduced and many of them are yet to come. But with the next upgrade to iOS 15.2, there is already an important function in it. Namely ‘Digital Legacy’.
Upgrade in iPhone software
The name says it all: digital legacy. Death happens to all of us, unfortunately. This position requires you to think about what happens when you die. Do this anyway, this can be done with a will. This prevents a lot of hassle for your relatives.
Apple is now coming up with an online legacy. We all know the stories of people who can’t access the iPhone of someone who is no longer there. This keeps them locked out of precious memories that you wouldn’t want to lose. Think of photos or videos.
Digital Legacy
Apple has realized this and is coming up with a feature to fix it. That is remarkable, because the company has always refused to do so. This is for privacy. With the new function you can ensure that people who are left behind gain access. Then they no longer have to guess your password. Most of the time you don’t find out and the phone blocks. Miserable.
The feature allows you to designate up to five people as ‘Legacy Contacts’. So that passing on data and personal information stored on iCloud becomes easy, instead of impossible. On the iPhone or iPad, go to Settings and find Password & Security, which you’ll find by tapping the tile with your name at the top of the Settings front page. You can then add the data there. Don’t forget to inform the people themselves! Otherwise you have nothing to do with it.
