The cheapest and most expensive Apple products

Apple products are expensive, according to popular belief. In the manufacturer’s online shop, however, it quickly becomes clear that the old prejudice is no longer true. Today, Apple offers the right gadget for almost every budget and covers an enormous price range. We were looking for the extremes and wanted to find the cheapest and most expensive Apple product.

How much Apple has expanded its own product range is probably best seen on the iPhone. At the start of 2007 there was only one model of the cult cell phone. Anyone who wants to buy an iPhone from Apple today is spoiled for choice: Apple offers a total of 8 models, starting at 519 euros (iPhone SE 3) and going up to 1,249 euros (iPhone 13 Pro Max). Each for the standard model, mind you. After all, Apple can pay dearly for more memory.

But the price range at Apple goes further – in both directions. We wanted to know: What is the cheapest product that Apple offers and what is the most expensive? A trip to the Apple Store brought the answer.

Apple charges the least for the Lightning Headphone Jack Adapter. This makes it possible to use classic headphones with a 3.5 mm connection on a modern iPhone costs 10 euros at Apple. As is well known, all modern iPhones since 2016 do not have a jack socket.

On the other hand, there is the Mac Pro. Fully equipped with all the additional options that Apple makes available to buyers, it costs over 60,000 euros. For that you get a well-equipped Tesla Model 3.

However, in view of Apple’s switch to its own chips, every potential buyer should think twice before hitting it – regardless of the configuration. Finally, the Mac Pro is based on Intel processors and lands in the foreseeable future in the technology graveyard.

The new MacBook Air is significantly cheaper:

Even if the iPhone SE 3 is the cheapest (at Apple) entry into the iPhone world, I would personally recommend the iPhone 11. It’s a bit older, but in my opinion it offers the best value for money.
