The best vacuum robots from Miele, Roborock, Yeedi & Co.
In the daily fight against dust, lint and animal hair, a vacuum robot is a welcome helper. We have looked at various suction and suction mop models and present you our 4 favorites.
In order to find the right vacuum robot for you, the most important question is what the device should be able to do. Basically you can choose between conventional vacuum robots (suction only) and vacuum cleaning robots (Combi devices that can also wipe). There are also pure wiping robots, but these are hardly worthwhile in terms of price-performance ratio. In our overview you will therefore find two vacuum robots and two vacuum cleaning robots, including test winners from Stiftung Warentest and a model that we have tested extensively ourselves.

The best vacuum robots: All models at a glance
- GIGA tip the Yeedi Vac 2 Pro (460 euros at Amazon) convinces with its suction and wiping functions and the powerful battery.
- price tip The vacuum robot Airrobo P20 (140 euros at Otto) is a good and cheap alternative.
- the Miele RX3 Scout HomeVision According to Stiftung Warentest, (700 euros at Saturn) is the best (and in our opinion the most stylish) vacuum robot.
- The best vacuum cleaning robot was the Roborock S6 Max V (570 euros at Amazon) – and praised for its intelligent cleaning.
Yeedi Vac 2 Pro: Dust and pet hair are no problem
GIGA tip Next we have the robot vacuum cleaner Yeedi Vac 2 Pro (340 euros, see at Amazon). In our test, the robot was able to put its skills to the test: after memorizing the rooms and various obstacles (bed, couch, chest of drawers, etc.), it does a good job. Already after a suction tour is the apartment dust, cat hair, cat litter crumbs, potting soil and more.
I was very enthusiastic about the wiping function, because the oscillating movement dries the floor immediately, which my floorboards gratefully accept. In addition, the Yeedi Vac 2 Pro can get into all corners with its side brush. The device works at a volume that is not too high and occasionally gives updates on its work. Language settings you can in the associated Yeedi app make. This is essential for setup. However, to use it you have to create an account. After you have made all the settings, you can easily control the vacuum robot via the app via WLAN setup and set up schedules for vacuuming and wiping. You also have an overview of your robot, whether it is currently offline, what its charge status looks like and so on.
Speaking of charge level: The battery has staying power. The device arrived at 74 percent and after 3 tours through my living room, which took a good 45 minutes in total, the battery level was still at 74 percent. The manufacturer states a total battery life of 240 minutes, so that consumption after more than 40 minutes cannot be possible. It is possible that this is a software error. A real weakness, however, is the obstacle detection. The device recognizes large pieces of furniture, but still bumps into a table leg from time to time. Driving around the carpet as described by the manufacturer did not work either. The vacuum cleaner drove over my carpet without hesitation – but at least it got vacuumed again.
Advantages:
- convenient control via app
- strong battery
- convincing cleaning performance
Disadvantages:
- App use requires customer account
- Obstacle detection with weaknesses
Airrobo P20: Solid vacuum robot for little money
price tip If you want to get yourself a vacuum robot without digging too deep into your pocket, this is it Airrobo P20 (see Otto) a good choice. The robot can be connected and controlled via WiFi with the associated app, and there is also a remote control.
Overall you can choose between 4 cleaning modes choose that, according to purchase reviews, can even cope with larger dirt (such as coffee beans). The battery comes with a Running time of 120 minutes half as strong as the lower Yeedi, but is quite sufficient for a tour of the apartment.
One point of criticism is the orientation. In the reviews, for example, it is noted that the device does not always find its way back to the charging station immediately or gets stuck from time to time, only to then vacuum the areas again that it has already worked on. Anyone who can turn a blind eye here will get the Airrobo P20 a cheap alternativewho, despite everything, does a good job.
Advantages:
- works quietly
- good suction power
- Control via app and remote control
Disadvantages:
- Battery life a little shorter
- occasional orientation problems
Do you prefer a normal vacuum cleaner or a cordless vacuum cleaner? We also have some recommendations for you:
Miele RX3 Scout Home Vision: Test winner among the vacuum robots
When it comes to household appliances, Miele is a well-known name. The manufacturer was also able to assert itself with vacuum robots: Der RX3 Scout HomeVision is not only with its black and rose gold design a chic eye-catcher, but also the winner at Stiftung Warentest with the grade “Good (2.1)”. But it also has its price of just under 610 euros (see Saturn).
Especially the Hard floor suction is very good. The robot doesn’t even stop at heavy dirt and can get into the corners without any problems. On the other hand, he finds it a bit more difficult with carpets.
At maximum performance, the battery lasts 100 minutes in normal mode, according to the manufacturer 170 minutes. So even for a larger apartment sufficient. However, Stiftung Warentest criticizes the handling. Especially the cleaning of the dust container and the device are a bit complicated. On the other hand, the operation via app and remote control comes off well.
Advantages:
- very good cleaning performance on hard floors
- Control via app and remote control
Disadvantages:
- Weaknesses on carpet
- Handling sometimes complicated
Roborock S6 MaxV: Test winner among the vacuum cleaning robots
Stiftung Warentest has also taken a closer look at various vacuum cleaning robots. In the category he could Roborock S6 MaxV (view at Amazon) convince yourself. He received a grade of 1.9 for the wiping functions in particular. as well it cleans thoroughly on hard floorsbut has problems with carpet and corners and edges.
If the Roborock works at maximum power, the battery only lasts 83 minutes, according to the manufacturer it should with normal use up to 180 minutes create, so that only the above model from Yeedi has the lead in our list. Like the other models in our selection, you can control the Roborock S6 MaxV via app. In order to make various personalized settings, however, it is necessary to open a corresponding customer account again. The accuracy of the robot is praised in the purchase reviews on Notebooksbilliger.de: it avoids various obstacles without causing trouble and thus does a good and thorough job.
Incidentally, the successor has already been made Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra scrutinized by Stiftung Warentest. However, it achieved poorer results in terms of suction and wiping performance, which is why we still recommend the S6 MaxV.
Advantages:
- convincing wet and dry cleaning on hard floors
- strong battery
- Control via app …
Disadvantages:
- … but only with a customer account
- Weaknesses on carpet
