Under each device you will find a so-called device box, with which you can go directly to the device page with current prices and specifications.

Poco X3 NFC

In our Poco X3 NFC review, we were already very enthusiastic about this smartphone from the Chinese brand. For a very decent price you get an advanced high-performing camera, an excellent price-quality ratio and moreover; phenomenal battery life. There is a 6.67-inch Full-HD + screen with 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 732G chipset and 6GB of RAM. The update policy is a bit unclear, but we can expect Android 11 anyway. With the Poco X3 NFC you also have the feeling that you have a high-end smartphone in your hands.

Oppo A72 review

Oppo A72

Despite the fact that an Oppo A73 has been released, which is equipped with 5G support and is priced higher than 300 euros, the A72 is still for sale. The Oppo A72 is a great smartphone that is equipped with a 6.5-inch Full-HD + screen, Snapdragon 665 chipset, 5000 mAh battery, quad camera and 4GB of RAM. The device scores nicely in almost all areas, although the wide-angle lens of the camera is not the best and the screen could be a bit brighter. You can read our experience in the Oppo A72 review.

This pin is a nice addition to the device. There is also a 6.4-inch Full-HD + screen, 4GB RAM, triple camera and 4000 mAh battery.

Moto G9 Plus review

Moto G9 Plus

In the list with best smartphone up to 300 euros, there is also a place for the Moto G9 Plus from Motorola. It is quite large and heavy, compared to the other devices. In our Moto G9 Plus review, we were positive about the battery life, the fingerprint scanner and the 30W fast charger. With this, the 5000 mAh battery is full again quickly. The smartphone offers a 6.8-inch Full-HD + screen, 4GB of RAM and a quad camera. There is a physical key to launch the Google Assistant. Too bad Motorola’s update policy scores poorly.

There is a 6.67-inch Full-HD + screen, 6GB of RAM, 5020 mAh battery with 30W fast charging and a Snapdragon 720G processor. In terms of update policy, not much is known, which is a shame, but otherwise you will certainly enjoy the smartphone.

Moto G 5G Plus header

Moto G 5G Plus

Motorola also released a more affordable 5G smartphone this year; the Moto G 5G Plus, which we also covered extensively in the review. A nice and fast device with a nice 90Hz screen, good battery life and a nice design. The camera does perform variable and is therefore less suitable for those who like to take photos with a smartphone. The update policy remains a pain point in this regard. Only Android 11 is still in the pipeline, after that it will be done with the OS updates.

Samsung Galaxy A51 experiences

Samsung Galaxy A51

Despite the fact that it is almost celebrating its first birthday, you cannot ignore the Samsung Galaxy A51. This popular beloved device has a 6.5 inch AMOLED screen, good sound quality, beautifully finished design and good value for money. Although the camera performs somewhat variably; fine during the day, a disappointment in the evening, the update policy of the Galaxy A51 is in order. You can read our findings in the Samsung Galaxy A51 review.

Sony Xperia 10 II review

Sony Xperia 10 II

The Sony Xperia 10 II is a relatively compact device (but smooth!) With excellent specifications. On board the Xperia is a 6.0-inch Full-HD + OLED screen and a waterproof housing. There is also 4GB of RAM available, along with a Snapdragon 665 and 3600 mAh battery. This provides the device with a fairly small battery capacity, but in practice you will not notice that much, as we wrote in our Sony Xperia 10 II review.

Which one should I choose?

Choosing a new phone is difficult. In any case, we hope this DroidApp Buying Advice has made it easier for you. Which phone suits you best is very personal, because everyone’s wishes can differ. If you choose a smartphone up to 300 euros, it is important for yourself; do I want 5G? Keep in mind that this is only available with the major providers (T-Mobile, KPN, Vodafone) and sometimes only for an additional fee. Not with other providers. In addition, it may be that you do not necessarily have to have access to the 5G network, then a 4G device is still absolutely sufficient.

If you don’t necessarily need a 5G device, then we would choose the Poco X3 NFC or the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. A great camera and a very good battery. In terms of updates, Samsung offers more security. If you opt for a 5G smartphone, we would recommend the Galaxy A42 from Samsung or Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite. Good luck with your choice!
