For music lovers, Sony has an extensive range of headphones and headsets. Now it’s time for a new product from the Japanese manufacturer. The brand has announced the Sony WF-1000XM4. They are wireless earbuds and support digital noise canceling and High-Resolution Audio Wireless. The noise cancellation adapts to the type of ambient noise. According to Sony, they are also great for phone calls and come with smart features like Speak-to-Chat and Quick Attention.

With the former function, the music is paused when the listener starts talking. You can also use the gestures on the earbud to pause, this is Quick Attention. Furthermore, the Sony WF-1000XM4 can handle various codecs such as SBC, AAC and LDAC. You can also quickly pair the headset with an Android or Windows device thanks to Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair.

According to Sony, you can use the headset on a full battery for 8 hours, along with the use of the noise canceling. Otherwise, the battery life is 12 hours. A full charge takes about an hour and a half. This does apply if you charge the earplugs via the case in between. The battery life is 5.5 hours consecutively. With five minutes in the case you can go an hour ahead. The case can be charged wirelessly (Qi), or via USB-C.

Sony releases the WF-1000XM4 for an amount of 280 euros. They will be available in silver and black later this month. You can order them at Bol.com and Coolblue.
