Sony has introduced a cheaper version of the Xperia 10 III with less memory

The compact mid-range smartphone Sony Xperia 10 III will have a lightweight version on the European market with the designation Sony Xperia 10 III Lite. According to the portal AndroidAuthority is the only difference compared to the previous version in addition to the price of less memory.

With half memory and without second SIM card slot

The light version does not differ in design or most parameters from the original version. Once again, we find a 6-inch OLED display with HDR support, a resolution of 2520 × 1080 pixels and a 21: 9 aspect ratio. The refresh rate remained at 60 Hz. The camera consists of three sensors – a 12 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and an 8 MP telephoto lens. There is an 8 MP selfie camera in front.

The same is also the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G chipset, which is supplemented with 6 GB of RAM. The difference can be found in the internal memory, which this time is only 64 GB. Fortunately, it can be expanded with microSDXC cards. The smartphone also lacks an FM radio and a second SIM card slot. Fortunately, you can still use it with eSIM support.

What will be the price of the novelty on the European market?

The biggest advantages of the Sony Xperie 10 III have been retained. We are talking about water resistance IP65 / 68 and a large battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh, which guarantees the smartphone up to three days of endurance. The Sony Xperia 10 III Lite will be sold on the European market in black and white for 429 euros. The manufacturer has not yet announced when this will happen. The Japanese operator MVNO will offer the smartphone exclusively in the other two colors from 27 August.
