Microsoft brings dark theme to handy Office app

For some time now you can download the handy Office app from the Google Play Store; an all-in-1 app without having to download individual apps. The latest update brings a dark theme.

A new update is being distributed for Microsoft’s Office app. This is a very handy application from the company, with which you can get started on your smartphone or tablet with the possibilities of Word, PowerPoint and Excel, without having to pay for it. Now a long-awaited feature is being added to the Microsoft app.

Microsoft has added dark mode to the Office app. You can find this in the settings, if you tap your profile picture. Then you can go to the display preferences and change the theme. Optionally, the app can also adapt to the theme of the phone.

Unfortunately, not everything has been adjusted yet, which we see in the Excel sheets, for example. The boxes there are, for example, still white. Hopefully Microsoft will address this with an upcoming update for the Office app. You can download the update from the Google Play Store via the button below.
