The streaming provider Disney + has probably censored a Marvel series afterwards. The original appears much more brutal in comparison. However, the change is not really successful, as is particularly evident in one scene. In terms of content, it makes little sense now.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier: Disney+ is censoring scenes

Almost exactly a year ago, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series made waves on Disney+. It was the most watched premiere on the streaming provider. As it turns out, Disney+ has an afterthought edited at least two scenes. Reddit users noticed this and are now speculating about possible motives.

In the third episode of the Marvel series, which premiered on April 2, 2021, later processing makes little sense. The aim was probably to make the scene look less brutal. This was successful, but the process now seems a bit strange.

In the original, the character Bucky Barnes throws an iron bar at a woman during a fight. This rod then sticks in the woman’s shoulder, nailing her to the outside wall of a container. In the censored version again the bar bounces off the shoulder – but the lady still gets stuck on the container, which makes no sense.

Disney + also has another scene subsequently grabbed the scissors and made them less brutal. Originally in the scene, a person was lying on the ground surrounded by blood splatters. The revised version doesn’t show any more of the blood (source: Reddit).

Censorship or Error: Are There Two Versions on Disney+?

Only Disney+ knows why there was subsequent censorship. But there are speculations that it actually is could just be an accident. It is possible that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is available from the streaming provider in two versions, one of which is also unlocked for young people. Maybe Disney+ just got mixed up here and is showing this version to adults as well.
