Simon Keizer has a special gift for newborn son

“Just like I did with Kiki when she was born, I have now also created an email address,” says Simon. “And later, when Joa is old enough to use that, his first two emails will be two letters his mom and dad wrote when he was less than two weeks old.”

‘We live in the now’

Last year, the couple spoke candidly about their wish for a second child in their own podcast Ik & Simon, about which they always received many questions. “I think that question is inappropriate,” admitted Annemarie. “We get that comment quite often in the village,” Simon added. “But what people don’t realize is that it may be sensitive. Which is not the case in our case, by the way. We are just really enjoying the situation now. And we live in the now.”

Simon and Annemarie have been married since 2012. Their daughter Kiki was born in 2017.
