Shadow Warrior 3 is postponed to next year -apkrig

Developers from the Flying Wild Hog studio announcedthat their upcoming Shadow Warrior 3 event will not be released this year, but next year. They simply need more time to catch everything. In order to alleviate the disappointment of the fans at least a little, the Polish team accompanied the announcement with a new trailer of about a minute.

The game is aimed at PC, Xbox and PlayStation, and since it still hasn’t set an exact release date, the delay isn’t really a big surprise. It should be added that the Warsaw team Flying Wild Hog announced the game last July. In November 2020, the Polish developers were bought by the Embracer Group through Koch Media.

Three more games in development

Flying Wild Hog are not only working on the Shadow Warrior 3 event. This year, they also had to finish the spooky western Evil West, published by Focus Entertainment. But we haven’t heard anything about him since The Game Awards 2020, where he was introduced. And the list of upcoming projects still does not end there.

In collaboration with Leonard Menchiari (The Eternal Castle), they are planning an expedition to feudal Japan under the name Trek to Yomi as part of a team based in Rzeszów. This title is also being released by Devolver Digital as Shadow Warrior 3 and is due next year. Finally, the last game in progress since Flying Wild Hog is Space Punks. They are created in Krakow, their publisher is Jagex and the full version is to arrive next year.

No wonder the authors do not catch up. Perhaps they didn’t take too big a bite. You can find more details about the Shadow Warrior 3 event in our archive.
