Samsung will start One UI 4.1 update for the Galaxy S21 next week

The owners of the Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra probably won’t have to wait long for the One UI 4.1 update. Rumor has it that the update is scheduled to be rolled out in the United States from the end of February.

New in One UI 4.1

One UI 4.1 is the software version that the new Samsung Galaxy S22 phones run on. Samsung’s One UI 4.1 isn’t a huge upgrade over the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 version. Still, there are a number of nice new functions in this version, including expanding the working memory and new Smart widgets. Another important new feature is the Pro mode in the camera app. This can be used for all lenses in this software version. In addition, users can also use the night mode and the ultra-wide angle lens in third-party apps.

Rollout One UI 4.1

A tipster told Piunikaweb that Samsung is now busy rolling out the One UI 4.1 update in the US between the end of this month and early March. However, it looks like the Galaxy S21 Ultra will be the only phone to get the update in the first week of March. Unfortunately, the tipster was unable to report when the One UI 4.1 update will come to the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus. So it seems unlikely that the entire S21 series will receive the One UI 4.1 update at once. Anyway, Samsung will probably start distributing the new One UI 4.1 software in the near future. After that, we have to wait for the update to arrive in the Netherlands and Belgium and hopefully that won’t take too long.

Will you receive the One UI 4.1 update on your S21? Then we would like to hear and see this via this e-mail address (please include a screenshot).
