‘Samsung will make the interface much faster with One UI 5.0’

Samsung is working behind the scenes with One UI 5.0, the skin that will probably be rolled out together with Android 13. The new version will be improved in several ways, including speed.

One UI 5.0 gets faster

Information about One UI 4.1.1 appeared this week. This new skin is expected in a few months, with the manufacturer rolling out several smaller improvements to its own interface. Another larger update is expected later, which will be based on Android 13. This concerns One UI 5.0.

According to Sammobile colleagues, we can expect improvements in speed. Samsung is known as an excellent skin with the One UI skin, but one that will not win the prize in terms of speed. That should be a thing of the past with One UI 5.0. Samsung will optimize and speed up the animations in the interface. Especially with devices with a 120Hz refresh rate, the sometimes slow animations are now noticeable.

It is not known what new functions One UI 5.0 will bring. One UI 5.0 will be part of Android 13. That Android version will get several new features such as a new media browser, per-app language settings, and several other improvements.

One UI 5.0 is expected to come to the first devices in October or November. It was previously suggested that the beta channel of Android 13 for Samsung devices will be rolled out in the summer.
