“Samsung will equip all Galaxy S22 models with Snapdragon chipset”

There is interesting news about the new batch of devices from the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. The smartphones will not be provided with their own Exynos chipsets by the manufacturer.

Snapdragon in Galaxy S22

All three models from the new Galaxy S22 series will be equipped with a Qualcomm chipset by Samsung. This news is shared by an ex-Samsung employee, which is being written about by Super Roader. Normally, Samsung releases its devices with an Exynos chipset from its own factory.

Due to the chip shortage, Samsung would now have decided to supply all models from the Samsung Galaxy S22 series with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Rumors speak of the presence of the Snapdragon 989 processor in the Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Whether the news is indeed true remains to be seen. Information from Samsung itself has not been shared. In addition, some leakers maintain that Samsung would still like to provide the S22 series with an Exynos 2200 chipset. We will hear everything in February. We wrote on Monday that the announcement for the phone is probably scheduled for February 8.
